This took longer than I expected and man the shading weren't all that easy. *sighs* I still have to practice with these transparent shadings but its the close I can get.

A part of my art trade with :iconphoenixmaiden: and its of her senshi: Sailor Hoedus.

Very nice!

The fabric is shear, not transparent.

You're welcome.

In regards to the word sheer (not shear, as I had assumed), you can see something clearly, but not you can not see its true shape or color. Maybe transparent, maybe translucent.

From what, I personally, understand, sheer fabric might allow all or little of somethings form to be seen as it is either transparent or translucent. When something is transparent, you can see something clearly (such as reading literature or viewing art) with light: a window is transparent. If something is translucent, such as a frosted window-pane, you may or may not see a shape clearly but you will not details, perhaps not even definition. The word opaque is the opposite of translucent, so that would mean to be just about anything that is solid which light cannot pass is opaque.

I would read this webpage for a better understanding. Also, from reading other websites, I'm not an expert, I've found these definitions:
• Transparent curtains lets in all of the light through the window.
• Translucent curtains lets in some light, but not all of the light to see things clearly, into the room.
• Opaque curtains does not let light into the room.

It looks light I've babbled now, sorry about that.

Thats okay and thankyou for pointing that out. Yes, its very tricky for me to make it transparent due to the only program I have to do is MS Paint, I don't have any other programs to make it better but ohh well but its the closely thing I can do.

It's okay. I know it would be better if you had, or could get, a Paint Shop Pro program which would allow you to choose transparency (or how opaque they look). (PSP uses the word transparency.)
